Courtesy of the built-in, high-efficiency 170-watt Class-D amplifier, the maximum current drawn is only 4.3A and wouldn’t cause any power stress in a fully electric vehicle. The specially designed honeycomb structure enclosure and Digital Bass Control (Pioneer technology), allows for increased performance, producing deep and powerful bass without the typical sacrifice in space. Powerful Amplified Subwoofer Combines a built-in 170-watt Class D amplifier, aluminum cone specially designed acoustic suspension enclosure, and Digital Bass Control, a technology developed by Pioneer to tailor frequency response and increase the performance. It is, thus, compact while producing deep, powerful bass. Digital Bass Control Digital Bass Control now provides three selectable listening modes, Deep, Dynamic and Natural, enhancing system optimization and tuning the output to complement various musical styles and vehicle types.
