Rode Podcaster Overview The Rode Podcaster is a broadcast microphone with a USB port and a 3.5mm headphone output with volume control. It can be used to capture audio when paired with a Mac or Windows computer (sold separately) and provide a simple and efficient system for speech, podcasting, and voice over applications. The Podcaster microphone is built with a headphone amplifier that allows users to plug headphones directly into the microphone, eliminating the need for external mixing consoles, headphone amplifiers, or external monitoring devices.
